They say Van Gogh would eat his yellow paint because he thought that he would get the happiness inside of him. And people thought that he was mad and stupid for doing it, but he did it anyways and i don’t think it’s so crazy. If you’re sad enough that even the craziest of ideas might be able to help, then you should do it. It’s just the same as falling in love. You know, you could have your heart completely broken but you do it anyways because the chance at happiness is greater than the insanity of heartbreak. Everybody has their yellow paint, that little thing that could mean the end that they do because it’s worth it.

(I would never recommend anyone to treat their sadness by eating paint but yeah I kinda like this quote still)

A ‘Ring of Fire’ solar eclipse is a rare phenomenon that occurs when the moon’s orbit is at its apogee: the part of its orbit farthest away from the Earth. Because the moon is so far away, it seems smaller than normal to the human eye. The result is that the moon doesn’t entirely block out our view of the sun, but leaves an “annulus,” or ring of sunlight glowing around it. Hence the term  “annular” eclipse rather than a “total” eclipse.

You can’t be more horrific than life itself.

Francis Bacon, after being described by British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher as “that man who paints those dreadful pictures.”
